Volunteer coordinator for hospitality & greeter teams; provide cleaning service on a weekly basis.

Favourite thing about living here:

The overall milder weather! It’s a beautiful area close to lots of recreation opportunities; pretty much anything you need is close by.

Favourite thing about working here:

I get to serve my faith family. It’s flexible hours and close to home.

When I'm not working:

I’m gardening and maintaining our beautifully landscaped 2.5 acres. Play time involves cycling, kayaking, strolling along the beach and things like that.

Favourite Local Eats:

We don’t get out much because I like to cook. Bare Bones in Port Alberni has very good fish & chips.

Education:

School of life! A good example was set by my parents, especially my mom. I had my first cleaning job when I was 12 and have done them off and on most of my life.
