Favourite thing about living here:

It's a treat for this city girl to be in a smaller community with a slower pace of life--it's very refreshing. I especially appreciate how quickly I am able to meet and get to know new people in the area, not only at church but also at the beach, the library, the grocery store, and the playground.

Favourite thing about working here:

I'm always uplifted by the glimpse of God's kingdom I get when we are gathered together, whether all together for a service or in a small group for Bible study or prayer. I also treasure quality time with members of our congregation, sharing our sorrows and sharing our joys, and placing ourselves through prayer into God's loving hands.

When I'm not working:

I love so many things in God's beautiful world, including slow mornings, time in the garden, teaching my kids to read, afternoon coffee, walks with friends, evening jazz, alone time at the gym, and a good novel before bed.

Favourite Local Eats:

Thai Smile, Sushi Hama, Salt Pizzeria, and McDonald's! :)
