Good Food Oceanside

We are thrilled to be a distribution point for the Nanaimo Foodshare’s Good Food Program, which provides a bag of fresh fruit and vegetables once a week at a reduced cost. We are grateful to the staff and volunteers at Nanaimo Foodshare and the volunteers of Oceanside Community Church who make this program possible! 

Generally, 7-8 different items are in each bag, such as apples, potatoes, cucumbers, oranges, and seasonal produce. While the produce would cost about $25 in a store, participants pay only $10 or $15 as their income allows.  

If you are interested, you are very welcome to sign up for a one-time or weekly bag for yourself or someone you know. The more people who sign up, the better for sustainability and produce quality! 

Pickup times are every Thursday from 2:30pm to 4:00pm here at our location, 1420 Alberni Hwy. We unfortunately are not able to offer delivery, but people often pick up bags for friends and family who have signed up.
