Favourite thing about Oceanside: 

Being a part of a community of believers where Christ’s love and grace is so evident in their lives. From the first time I walked through the church doors on a Sunday morning, everyone has been so welcoming and kind. Time and time again it’s been amazing to see their love and care for the wider community and it truly feels like a family of faith; fully alive in Christ and striving to live as He did. I’m excited to see God working in and through this church in future, and to be a small part of that work too. 

Favourite thing about living here: 

Being so close to nature! There are so many great trails, beaches, drives and hikes close by so it’s easy to feel connected to nature and lose yourself in the beauty of God’s creation. A close second would definitely be all the opportunities to connect with people through wider community events and hobby groups throughout the year. It makes it a lot easier to find new friends, discover new places and get connected in the Parksville/Qualicum Beach area. 

Favourite Things:

Spending time with my husband or my friends, drinking coffee, hiking or diving into God’s Word.

Favourite Local Eats:

Anywhere that serves Asian cuisine! Sushi Hama in Qualicum Beach and Masala Hut in Parksville are our go-to.
