This Sunday we spent some time praying for strength for the people and church in Ukraine and a peaceful resolution to the invasion by Russia. Psalm 34:18 says "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit," and we trust that he is working and moving in the midst of this conflict. As we did on Sunday, we will continue to pray for God's church in Ukraine and Russia; that God would strengthen them and enable them to put on the full armour of God in this difficult situation.
ERDO (Emergency Relief and Development Overseas) is the humanitarian agency of The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada and is responding to the emergency relief needs they are aware of in Ukraine. A large part of their work is bringing aid to the fleeing refugees and to help equip the local church in Ukraine to offer support and supply packages. To donate towards their efforts, click here.
