On February 22nd, over 25 people from Oceanside Community Church participated in the Coldest Night of the Year charity walk in Qualicum. This annual event supports local organizations that are working to eliminate homelessness and provide care and support to those who find themselves in this difficult situation.
The Oceanside edition of the walk benefits the Island Crisis Care Society, which we have supported as a church through initiatives such as our Christmas Community Impact Project.
This year, teams formed by our Life Groups raised and contributed over $3,300 to the $120,000+ total for the Oceanside area.
Well done to all those who contributed and participated in this event! Thank you for your generosity and your hearts of compassion towards those who are the most in need.
